Professor Lucy Taksa

Co-Director Centre for Workplace Futures, Macquarie Business School

 Professor Lucy Taksa has expertise in workplace culture and cultural change, diversity management, migrant employment and entrepreneurship, and heritage management. She has been Co-Director of the Centre for Workforce Futures at Macquarie Business School since July 2018 and was selected as one of the 2019 Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence. Lucy and Prof Amanda Pyman (Deakin University) are incoming Executive Editors of the Journal of Industrial Relations from 2022.  
 
Lucy has published on the past, present and future of work, management, technological and cultural change, gendered and culturally diverse workplace cultures, management education, workplace health and safety, migrant and refugee employment, women leaders, and health and ageing. Throughout her career, Lucy has promoted collaboration between scholars and external stakeholders to aid the fulfilment of the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals.
